How do I find my Dyson model number?
Check the label on the machine — on cordless vacuums it's behind the bin or on the body (e.g. SV12, SV18, SV23); on purifiers it's on the base (e.g. TP07, HP04). The model name (V10, V11, Gen5detect) is usually printed on the wand or body too.
Are compatible filters as good as genuine Dyson filters?

How often should I replace or wash my Dyson filter?
