Should I choose 12V or 24V LED strips?

For runs over 5 metres, 24V strips suffer less voltage drop and stay brighter along the length. 12V suits shorter runs, vehicles and battery projects. See our LED strip power & installation guide for full details.

What's the difference between COB and standard LED strips?

COB strips give a continuous, dotless line of light — ideal where the strip is visible or reflected. Standard SMD strips (2835, 5050) are brighter per dollar and fine inside aluminium diffuser channels.

What else do I need for an installation?
