The elliptical tip traces the groove more closely than the stock conical stylus, for clearer highs and less record wear. You get two, so there's a spare on hand when the first one wears out.

How to fit

Hold the cartridge, grip the plastic stylus body and pull it forward and down to remove it. Hook the new stylus into the slot at a slight angle and press up until it clicks into place. Keep the clear guard on while fitting and handle only the plastic body, never the cantilever.
